Play Golf

When Sutton Creek Golf Club opened in 1990, it signalled a new direction for public golf in Windsor-Essex County in southwestern Ontario. A park land design, Sutton Creek plays hard and fast, with lightning quick greens at the end of perfectly manicured fairways. The 18-hole layout has 60 strategically placed bunkers, seven expansive ponds, and the county’s McLaren Drain winding through it.

With a well designed mix of short, medium-length, and long holes, strategy is at a premium. At 6,792 yards from the back tees, the par-72 course presents a true test of golf as it was meant to be played. However, the four sets of tees and generous landing areas make it an enjoyable experience for everyone who plays it.

Practice Facility

Our practice facility is host to a natural grass tee deck to provide the best feedback a golfer needs to improve their swing.  A large short game area with a generous pitching and bunker area will assist any player in lower their short game handicap.

To complete the amenities for practicing, our large putting green gives enough options to practice all areas of putting, from long lag putts to short downhill sliders.

Come out to Sutton Creek to enjoy our beautiful practice facility.

The Practice Facility is open for the season, as of April 15.  We are currently mats only.  We have completed our tee line featuring state of the art mat systems to simulate real turf.
